Anyway... I have just come to the realization, the night before my classes start, that I have signed up for many a difficult class. Especially my upper division history class, which I signed up for mainly because it was the only class offered that wasn't US history... but I have a sinking feeling that I'll be surrounded by history majors/minors, when I am not one. I also personally know that the teacher is a rather difficult grader and has majorly high expectations of his entire class. Again, why did I think this would be a brilliant idea? I guess hard and interesting is better than boring and easy...but still! I did the same thing with my english class...
Good news, though, is that I'll be starting to oil paint this semester! Yay! I'm also continuing to the highest level of drawing offered at the school... well, i'm auditing that class so I don't have to pay for it (it would make my level of credits higher than is paid for by tuition... yes, I keep myself busy). After lazing about playing an inordinate amount of video games in the last few days (Halo and Mass Effect, mainly), I'm not too excited about actually having homework (well, other than that giant paper that I have left over from my summer biology course...). Ah, oh well. This journal is rather uninteresting, I imagine. I'll have to think of something more entertaining after school starts... if I find a spare minute or two for Dev art!

We have but faith: we cannot know;
For knowledge is of things we see;
And yet we trust it comes from thee,
A beam in darkness: let it grow.
